Painted Bone Box No.2
This box is made entirely from camel bone and has been carefully hand-painted.
The main scene on the lid depicts a lady being carried on a Palanquin by 4 male bearers, all proceeded by a flag-bearer.
Both long sides feature wildlife scenes and the box ends have iamges of traditional north Indian musical instruments.
Hand selected directly by peepultree India, and made on the edge of the Thar desert.
Each box is a carefully constructed, one-of-a-kind piece of art.
