Brass Singing Bell (large) No.3
Since ancient times, singing bells have been used in Tibet and Nepal (mostly by Buddhist monks), for healing, prayer, meditation, during ritual ceremonies and in sacred offerings.
The pure and soothing vibrations created by Singing Bells are also used to purify negative influences, increase positive energy and restore harmony and balance.
Also known as 'Prayer Bells,' singing bells are often rung before prayer and meditation, to clear the mind of worldly matters and dispel stress and tension. They are made in the same way as Singing Bowls using the seven metals, copper, tin, lead, iron, zinc, silver and gold.
Singing bells may be rung, struck like a gong or made to "sing" by rubbing the rim with a wooden beater, just like a singing bowl.
Please note that the Dorje-inspired handle unscrews for shipping and must be re-attached when it arrives.
