12cm Hand-beaten Singing Bowl
This premium singing bowl is made of 9 traditional metals, including gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin, nickel, zinc and lead. Individually hand-hammered for a distinct sound, each isa unique, handcrafted piece of Tibetan culture.
Singing bowls (also known as Tibetan Singing Bowls, rin gongs, Himalayan bowls or suzu gongs) are a type of bell but rather than hanging inverted or attached to a handle, singing bowls sit with the bottom surface resting.
Rubbing the rim of singing bowls causes them to vibrate and produce sound characterized by a fundamental frequency (first harmonic) and audible harmonic overtones (second and sometimes third harmonic).
Singing bowls are used worldwide for meditation, music, relaxation, and personal well-being. We have put together a basic guide which you can view by clicking here.
